Sylvia Heisel has always been obsessed with style, art, and design. Of Turkish heritage and raised in East Africa and New Jersey, Sylvia’s transcultural perspective informs her designs with a unique view of the world. A CFDA member since 1997, Sylvia is constantly energized by all that is new and creative in the world.

A visual artist as well as designer, Sylvia also creates and consults on sustainable temporary interiors, environments, displays and events. In partnership with her husband, Scott Taylor, they make places, objects and experiences that combine contemporary design, art, fashion, culture, technology and lifestyle.
